MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, MUMBAI INVITES APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CHAIR PROFESSOR

POST: Chair Professor, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT) IPR Chair, MNLU, Mumbai

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• An academic/scholar of outstanding track record in the area of IPR and aligned area of studies.
• Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in relevant area;
• Retired Officials of IP Offices under CGPDTM having experience of 5 years of working at GP ₹ 6600/- or above as Controller of Patent & Design or Registrar of Trademark & Geographical Indications or Registrar of Copyrights;
• An outstanding professional with established reputation in the field of IPR, who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the field (to be substantiated by credentials);
• Teaching or Industry experience of 10 years in a reputed organization is required.
• Individuals with age up to 69 years are eligible to apply.

Desirables:
(i) Experience in teaching/research in premier law universities/colleges in relevant area;
(ii) Excellent inter-personal and team-building skills;
(iii) Ability to innovate and to improve research, training and extension activities or services and to pursue interesting new ideas and new methods in the field of IPR.

Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for the physical interview. The call letter shall be sent to such candidates on or before 4th January 2023. No TA/DA will be given by the University.

NOTE:
(i) This appointment is for one year subject to extension.
(ii) The University retains the discretion not to make any appointment to this vacancy, to make an appointment at a revised remuneration, or to make an appointment with a modified job description and to fix revised qualification and requirements.
(iii) Candidates are required to bring three copies of their resume with photograph affixed on all copies, original and one set of photocopy of their Academic certificates, Experience certificate and other documents.
(iv) Reporting time is 02:30 PM. Candidates reporting after 02:30 PM shall not be allowed to appear for interview
